Maenam

The coffee here is the worst, even Nescafe puts it to shame, and the only thing on T.V. is Aljazeera. But besides those two (minor) negatives, Maenam is just lovely.
The beach is a tad narrow by tourism standards, but that doesn't bother me, what's important is that it's empty, absolutely vacant.

  1. Looks great to me! Especially now--we've been setting records for rain for more that a week. Even Buckley is leaving in the morning for Montana, says he's had it with this "soggy dump!" Me too. It will be so great to see you again in Istanbul. I'm so proud and happy for you, son. I hope your travels have been as good as I have imagined them being for you. It still is amazing to see my son, unique in all place and time, standing as an adult on the beach is a foreign land. Our screen saver these days is a picture of you looking out of a 'window' in a big cardboard box, just your eyes and little pug nose showing. All those little boy images are still part of how I see you, probably will always be. It's nice to see you grown up too. Love, Potatohead
